Chinese consumers rate the environment a higher priority than the Americans or the British
The findings of green brands surveys in China and their comparison with the results of similar surveys this year in the United States and Britain were presented at the Economist Conferences' Fifth China Branding Roundtable in Beijing.
According to the surveys, Chinese consumers rated the environment a higher priority than the economy when compared with consumers in the US and the UK. The surveys also covered whether their green concerns influenced their buying habits and their expectations of businesses. In addition, the survey participants were asked to identify the 10 greenest brands. The top green brands they identified included Haier, Baidu and Lenovo.
